These days there is hardly anything in the media except the Ram Mandir. It is an overkill but Prime Minister Narendra Modi is leaving no stone unturned to project himself as the Hindu 'hridaysamrat' and reap rich electoral dividends in the forthcoming polls. There is actually nothing spiritual about this temple, it is but another political weaponisation of Lord Ram; the temple is also not about Hinduism but it is all about belligerent muscular Hindutva which treats all other religions with contempt. The temple is not about love, peace or brotherhood but it is about hate, strife, division and discord. The aggressive marketing of the mandir is the antithesis of what true religion stands for. The Ram mandir is less about Ram but more about Modi. A monument whose foundations are built on the rubble of a mosque and blood of the minorities is not a mandir but a mausoleum.
