ISL does not seem to have given football boost

There was a massive publicity at the time of launching the ISL scheme. Presently even the crowd participation is on the wane with stands being half empty. The National and international players are enticed  to change  clubs for better remuneration.  Our players lack the stamina to be productive for full 90 minutes plus. The lure of foreign coaches and supporting staff is too obvious. Our national soccer team's dependence on foreign coaches has been a disaster even among Asian competitors. Our referees are doing a job but their expertise and fairness is  best left for another day.  ISL does  not look like it has given a boost to soccer, since there is no rush  as in cricket of glamour. Surprisingly there  is blast of cricket fixtures during ISL advertisement breaks. Limiting foreign players was a wise decision to enhance local talents. The wide disparity in fees need to be narrowed. ISL is surely a nursery to National team  and dream of local talent to be spotted. Northeast may have grown besides Bengal, Kerala, Goa and  Punjab -- the soccer giants of yesteryears.
