Chief Minister Pramod Sawant has come down heavily on the opposition for questioning the integrity of the government and the police department in connection with Suleman Khan's viral videos while promising a thorough investigation into it's origin. Why? Weren't these same BJP leaders dancing with joy recently when a fake doctored video was posted from a fake account and circulated on social media to malign the image of a prominent opposition MLA? And if the Congress was currently ruling the state and if such a incident had happened today then wouldn't the same Sawant along with his other BJP colleagues have taken out huge rallies/ morchas everywhere to politicise the issue and have demanded immediate resignation of the Congress CM in Goa? I think that CM Sawant, instead of appointing a team from the police department to investigate the above matter should appoint a judicial commission headed by a retired High Court judge to seriously probe and to get all the real culprits connected with Suleman Khan's daring jailbreak case punished at the very earliest.
