As I celebrate my birthday today, I have to thank God for having kept me safe over the years and especially during this pandemic. It is also a time to reflect and thank all of you immensely for your continued prayers and good wishes while humbly seeking your continued blessings as I move into another year. It was earlier said that it was one year at a time, but now in the current precarious environment it is one day at a time.
My greatest and only birthday wish is that the current pandemic, the worst crisis in our lifetime comes to a speedy end and people throughout the world can recover medically, economically, mentally and emotionally. May I reassure you that as Goa’s humble soldier, the task of serving the people is a commitment, which I will carry on till my very last breath. Despite the current grim scenario, I look forward to a new dawn with renewed optimism for a better future and life ahead as the best things are yet to come for our Goa and Goans.
