Malik cited songs on corruption by govt

In the freewheeling no-holds barred interview of former Goa Governor Satya Pal Malik with TV anchor of India Today levelling corruption charges against the Chief Minister Pramod Sawant, what the readers missed was his repeated assertion of the tiatr fraternity's singers songs on the misdemeanours of the ruling BJP which had brought awareness of scams to the niz goenkar. Malik time and again elaborated on the scams and loot resorted to by the Chief Minister and his MLAs related to ration, mining, pandemic deaths due to shortage of oxygen, etc.

People's memory is not short of the CM pursuing contentious projects in the dead of night when people were asleep under the garb of COVID-19 pandemic. His actions of using brutal force against the peaceful protestors and filing of FIRs will remain etched in peoples' memory. And finally what was opposed by the then Governor Malik regarding construction of a new Raj Bhavan citing the precarious financial condition of the state treasury  has been given assent by the present Governor Pillai which is a case of conflict of interests.
