I do not believe that the BJP Goa government has actually any good intentions for the common man.  One example is that at Karapur Bicholim on the pretext of affordable housing, the BJP is actually misusing it for luxury commercial/residential set up being developed by an outstation developer for mostly wealthy non-Goans from outside. If the Goa Govt actually had any good intentions they would have been very transparent on housing for ethnic Goans (ancestry dating to pre-1960) and come up with proper plan to offer alternate affordable housing on legally acquired land; vs legalising the theft of comunidade/Govt land which is mainly done by migrants; who are used by corrupt/incompetent Goan ministers/MLAs to  be in power.  I suspect that the BJP Goa Govt is also bracing for their controversial Mhaje Ghar scheme to be possibly rejected by the courts; and then in which case they will misuse the orders, shed false tears and show helplessness etc ; with the overall objective to tarnish the opposition as "spoilers" and try getting sympathy votes.  In my view, the BJP's deceitful toolkit/games for power is getting more brazen now.
