It’s election time in Goa and it’s not unusual to see candidates canvassing and parties having their meeting that are attended in large numbers.
But what is unusual to notice is hordes of migrants setting foot in the State. Hundreds of migrants are seen arriving in trains and buses in Vasco, Margao, Mapusa and Ponda.
This migrants who are brought for elections as vote banks get all the facilities like money, return ticket, food and alcohol.
Concerned authorities need to keep a watch on these migrants who can turn around the fortunes of candidates.
