New MLAs should work in interest of people

Chief Minister Pramod Sawant from the very beginning maintained BJP will win 21 seats and form the government. His words came true. Now, whether you voted or not for the MLAs who won doesn’t matter -- they are your representatives. Let dirty politics aside and work hand in hand to see that the MLAs perform forgetting party affiliations. The works in my village which have been left incomplete by MLA Clafacio Dias have to be now completed by the new MLA Yuri Alemao. People of Goa have brought in new faces and Yuri is among them. Elections are now over and we should now stop fighting among ourselves and work together to make our Goa a better place for everyone. I hope BJP will continue to work in the interest of the public and not against their wishes by using police force and political power. I also hope this government will listen to the voices of the public and not top business owners.
