No evidence to back CM's claims of urban naxals

Our Chief Minister Pramod Sawant recently cautioned us that people connected to urban naxalites are active in Goa and going around trying to divide society on the lines of caste and religion. According to him isolated communities within the state are being targeted by these imaginary UNs to embrace the Naxal ideology. Previously too he had falsely claimed that the Portuguese had destroyed 300 temples (no concrete evidence has emerged till now) and that we should wipe out all signs of their rule. It's another matter that Goans are hankering for Portuguese passports to leave the country, 2,000 did so successfully last year and many more are in line. Addressing a BJP morcha, the CM quoting his revered Vishwaguru asked party workers to spread the message that 'development' in the country took place only after 2014. There is no bigger lie than this, the masters of the art of dividing society are today preaching us to be cautious of people trying to fragment the country. The saffron party has done  more toxic work than even the British when it comes to 'divide and rule', at least the British established credible institutions of governance based on the rule of law. All institutions of democracy have been dismantled brick by brick, be it the Parliament,  the CAG, the judiciary, the Election Commission, office of the governor and President and what have you.
