Unfortunately, through a new notification, the government has decided to permit the use of loud speakers and public address systems only till midnight on just 15 special days and has now also omitted New Year and Easter Day from the new set of list.
However, if not rectified, the move may send the wrong signal to the Christian community in the State amid the festival season.
