Leaders of small-time opposition parties like Revolutionary Goans Party & AAP (with the exception of Goa Forward Party and Congress which have decided to have an alliance ) after months of negotiations/talks have finally decided to fight the coming Zilla Panchayat (ZP) elections separately. The way leaders of these small-time opposition parties are heard giving their own silly justifications, excuses for breaking from the alliance and naming their own party candidates, it looks like they somehow want to give maximum seats for candidates of the BJP on a platter. Well, these leaders had a golden chance to show their might against the BJP in the coming ZP elections by displaying their unity/staying with the alliance but they seem to have lost that opportunity due to the selfishness of their top leaders. I do reiterate and still say that the BJP candidates can be easily defeated in the state, putting up just one common candidate everywhere backed by all opposition parties. Yes, such a direct one-to-one fight alone can finally show where the BJP really stands and how strong their candidates are in most parts of the state.
