Democracy requires a strong Opposition. The budget has turned away from the poor and ordinary citizens. The Opposition is divided on egocentric and other grounds and wasting Parliament's time by attacking the PM! It should have been obvious by now that this is a futile strategy. The Opposition should rather rise to the occasion and corner the government with facts, figures and examples with real issues of the common man, bolstering the judiciary where possible, and also world legitimate criticism being dismissed as any criticism against the government from any quarters. The millions living on the roadside in the Delhi cold, joblessness with thousands/graduates applying for a few vacancies/menial jobs, the dangerous hate speeches by seers and even MlAs going unpunished even though widely circulated in social media and communal disharmony reported by the Press etc! Was surprised to read that AAP is reportedly a danger to national security and that the government via the Lieutenant Governor has asked the President for permission to prosecute Kejriwal and his deputy Sisodia.
