Activists and residents of Sancoale on Sunday reportedly booed Chief Minister Pramod Sawant for attending a function promoted by Bhutani group, accused of committing illegalities and indiscriminate hill cutting in the village, during a protest outside the venue of an event so-sponsored by the group at Cujira. Well, Sawant (despite all his earlier denials) has finally indeed shown that he is fully backing the above controversial project after openly attending the Bhutani promoted function and by refusing to meet the protestors who were protesting outside the venue. Well, after seeing the ongoing open destruction caused due to many other such upcoming projects in different parts of the state, it looks like politicians like Sawant have been specially chosen for their top positions by some Central BJP leaders with the sole intention of auctioning/selling all our vast hills, agricultural fields, ancestral houses/properties etc for the builder's lobby and fast-tracking Goa's destruction. Anyway, three cheers to the activists and residents of Sancoale for not giving up but still vowing to intensify their agitation further by taking to the streets to drive out Bhutani from Sancoale.
