In a rare organ transplant, a US man received the heart of a pig. The patient was terminally ill with no chance of survival. While human-to-human transplants of organs are common, the transplant of a pig's heart into a human raises serious ethical issues. Such an act may even be seen as tampering with God's creation. In the Old Testament, we are told people began to get puffed up with pride and thought they could achieve anything and were no less than God. So they started building a tower (which came to be known as the Tower of Babel) to reach the heavens! God did not approve of their actions. Suddenly, they began to speak in different languages and could not understand each other. That was the end of the Tower of Babel. Maybe, today, we are buffeted with different variants of the virus for the same reason.
