PM did not raise crucial issues affecting Goans

Chief Minister Pramod Sawant and his party colleagues should be congratulated for bringing in thousands of their supporters to attend Prime Minister Narendra Modi's recent public rally at the KTC bus stand, Margao in jam-packed buses and for successfully wooing them with free lunch facility for attending the meeting. Besides the self praise of his government, Modi was not heard uttering a single word over the burning crucial issues affecting Goans i.e. dual/European citizenship and the circular on the revocation of Indian citizenship issue, the vexed issue of Mhadei water diversion where Goa is fighting a court battle against Karnataka, besides contesting the DPR approval by the Centre. Neither, Modi was heard saying anything over the Dabolim airport survival issue. I think that if the PM was really bothered about the well-being of Goans then instead of distracting everyone by talking about some upcoming central government-funded projects in the name of bringing development & generating employment in the state, he would have given some assurances over the above crucial issues on top priority basis at his public rally at Margao.
