It is good to see that our Prime minister of India Narendra Modi has spoken few words in our mother tongue language of Goa Konkani. Modi has also said that St Francis Xavier is the Goencho saib of the people of Goa and Goans. It's a tight slap on Velingkar's face and a lesson to him to respect every religion specially in Goa where we Hindus, Muslims and Christians live as one family. At least in the name of Modi visit to Margao, the bus stop road got hot mixed but don't know when the BJP government will build a new model bus terminal in Margao? People of Goa were expecting much more from PM about issues related to Goa and Goans. PM was silent on issues like Mhadei, dual citizenship for OCI Goans, mining, garbage issue, quality tourism from foreign countries and many more which the people of Goa especially south Goa were waiting to hear from the prime minister. I think PM should visit every two months at different places so that the roads get better and black spots are free from garbage pollution.
