In three days the broadcast of the latest episode of Mann-Ki-Baat has garnered a measly 8,400 views on BJP's official YouTube Channel. Incidentally, the channel has more than 63 lakh subscribers, ie. only 0.13% of bhakts have tuned in to listen to their leader. It seems even his hardcore supporters have no interest in what their PM has to say ; they have realized that the monologue is useless and of no real benefit to them. It is just a propaganda tool to lift the sagging ratings of the world's most popular leader. This is not an exception, people who have been tracking this metric for many months opine that the viewership seldom exceeds 1 lakh at best. The situation of Narendra Modi's official channel on YouTube is no different. To prop up the illusion of his 'man of the masses' image, the CMs in BJP ruled states are organizing huge gatherings to listen to this meaningless broadcast but they are doing so more out of compulsion than anything else. Propaganda too has a shelf life and MKB may be past it's sell by date.
