It issad and shocking to hear about the ongoing racket in ESI government hospital inMargao. Some of the internal staff asking money to take care of a Covid bodywas shocking. Some of the employees are taking advantage of the situation.Because of these corrupt employees, the reputation of other doctors and nursesis also tarnished. It is sad to see that even during this difficult time,corruption remains so ingrained in our lives. The health minister and thehospital authority must move in to stem this racket in the government hospitaland take serious action against those indulging in such acts. It will be evenbetter if the terms and conditions and the formalities after the death of aperson are displayed clearly. The money part should also be made clear so thatpeople are not cheated.
