We are witnessing a government whose foundation is built on lies, bluff, coercion and intimidation. Nobody says anything or raises their voice. One wonders why. The Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman at a conclave the other day speaks as reported in the papers that the charge that after the ED raids, the entities bought electoral bonds but what if the ED raids happened after they had bought the bonds? She did not complete the sentence which would have been that the ED went after more money. Again speaking at the same event she posed a rhetorical question as to how do you know that all the money of the electoral bonds related to the ED raids went to the BJP? It could have gone to the regional parties also, she said. That is a stupid question, since who controls the ED -- the Centre & the BJP or the regional parties? Let her answer for her party, the BJP of which she is a senior member. The BJP ministers like the FM think they are the custodians of all knowledge and can make a fool of everybody.
