Regulations required to monitor private hospitals

Recently the Health Minister Vishwajit Rane warned private hospitals over delay in shifting critically-ill patients to GMC after exhausting DDSY medical insurance which was unfortunate. Hospitals have become a real estate industry and instead of providing succour to patients in distress fleece them. Some private hospitals are generating bills according to their whims and fancies even during crisis period. There needs a system to be put in place which will prevent hospitals from ‘fleecing’ distressed people.  Even one Bollywood movie was made on this topic,  "Gabbar is Back", which was a bitter truth of Indian hospital industry.
