The four to five Crosses proposed to be relocated may take some time, thereby delaying the road work in the city. This is yet another instance of a lack of planning. According to the news report, the authorities have initiated a dialogue with residents of St Inez in the capital city on its proposal to relocate several wayside Crosses. All such factors should have been taken into account at the initial stage while drawing up the plans. But then, that is not the way we work in the country.
