Remembering role teachers play in our lives

Teachers Day is celebrated every year on September 5 to pay respect to teachers. It is celebrated to mark the birthday of former president, scholar and philosopher Dr Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan. It's a very special occasion for everyone, especially for a teacher and student. It a day to honour the hard work and contribution of teachers in our life. Teachers not only give us knowledge but also teach us good manners, discipline and moral values. They guide us to become good human beings and sensible citizens. On Teacher's Day various cultural events are held in schools and colleges. Students express their feelings and gratitude to teachers through speeches, Poems, flowers, gifts, decorating classroom and by writings, drawings on blackboard to give warm welcome to the teacher. School is our second home and teachers are our second parents. Teaching is the mother of all professions. Thank you so much teachers for playing a important role in our lives because of you we are today successful persons and will always remember our school days and teachers forever in our life time.
