Revenue Minister Atanasio Babush Monserrate has reportedly written to Chief Minister Pramod Sawant to conduct a vigilance enquiry on bad roads and also against all the concerned PWD officers as he claims that most of the roads which were hotmixed recently with a lot of hype have already been washed out within one month with the onset of the ongoing monsoons in Goa.
Yes, after looking at the condition of some of the recently hotmixed roads, especially in the heart of Panjim city in the ongoing monsoon season, it looks like the PWD engineers/contractors in collaboration of some ministers/MLAs must have indeed repaired these same roads with some 'ghotala-mix' for the sake of enjoying their own fat commissions in Goa.
The government of the day should therefore indeed accept Monserrate's above mentioned demand and start conducting a inquiry to hold those responsible fully accountable for the ongoing worsening condition of all the newly hotmixed roads at the very earliest before people start losing their precious lives moving around on such horrible roads in Goa.
