Road near Pinto Rosario clinic washed out

I recently passed by the clinic of Dr Sidney Pinto Rosario and was shocked to see the condition of the road leading to it”completely washed out due to unexpected showers. This situation serves as a serious warning to the PWD authorities. Roads in such critical areas, especially those leading to medical facilities, must be maintained to prevent unnecessary hardship for patients.

This particular location houses a maternity hospital, and it’s deeply concerning to imagine expectant mothers and other patients having to navigate such hazardous conditions for their routine check-ups or emergencies.

I strongly urge the concerned authorities to take immediate action and repair this road on a war footing. If no steps are taken soon, I will have no choice but to approach the Human Rights Commission and the Conciliation Committee, as this constitutes a denial of basic access to healthcare.

Given that our Chief Minister is a doctor by profession and currently holds the PWD portfolio, I am hopeful that he will understand the urgency of this matter and ensure swift redressal.
