Former minister Mickky Pacheco, while speaking to media on Monday has alleged that he was asked for financial consideration in exchange for a Congress ticket during the 2022 Goa Assembly elections. Well, if what Mickky has said is 100% true then why he did not make this disclosure since the last four years? Mickky has also criticised the Congress High Command’s decision to reappoint Girish Chodankar as GPCC chief, alleging it will weaken the party further. Well, what Mickky has said over Congress High Command’s decision to reappoint Chodankar's as GPCC chief is absolutely true. Chodankar's decisions have practically proved disastrous for the Congress party in most elections in Goa. The Congress high command should have allowed Amit Patkar to remain as GPCC chief as he had worked to strengthen the party for over four years and had ensured Viriato Fernandes won the South Goa MP seat. Finally, Mickky has disclosed that he has plans to form a strong regional front to contest the 2027 Assembly elections. Well it looks like Mickky wants to give a walkover to the BJP by splitting all anti-BJP votes and bring the current BJP government back to power again.
