This is to bring to the kind notice of the PWD, Panchayat authorities that the hump type speed breakers are of abnormal height and not as per specifications on the western bypass service road at Nuvem under the road overpass bridge. Any car which has a low underbelly, invariably touches the undercarriage causing damage to the fuel tank or the chassis. Even when driving at snail's pace one has to cross this stretch at an angle so as to avoid damage to his vehicle. Looks like these service roads are built only for trucks and pickups with high clearances in order to park their vehicles.
I can challenge any PWD engineer if he or she tells me that these speed breakers are built as per specifications. There are numerous crossroads on this section and all over there are rumbler strips but why the speed breakers on this section only and that too of unusual height which becomes a nightmare for motorists. Hoping wiser counsels prevail and authorities set this abnormality right by levelling them to half their size.
