The just concluded 44th FIDE Chess Olympiad in Chennai has proved many things. India is capable of conducting such a coveted Olympiad in great grandeur and with all precision and perfection if only handled by the right state and right people. Among the many greats of the event, that the mission has been planned meticulously and executed with all precision without any flaw within a record time of just four months is the most appreciable one. Moreover, the gratitude expressed by Arkady Dvorkovich FIDE President and Sanjay Kapoor, President of All India Chess Federation to TN government and particularly Chief Minister M K Stalin for organizing such an event of huge magnitude within four months and acknowledging with all grace that the 44th Chess Olympiad conducted in Chennai was the best of all the Chess Olympiads speaks for the good efforts taken by all the stake holders of the event under the able leadership of the chief minister.
This is indeed a very proud moment for all Indians, particularly the people of Tamilnadu.
