PANAJIGTDC and Goa Forest department have launched ‘Experience the Forest with Foresters’ an overnight activity for wildlife and nature enthusiasts on August 13 at Bondla Zoo. The event includes guided nature trails, birding trip and interactions with the foresters. The main focus of the trip will be watching herpetofauna. The walk offers a fantastic opportunity to explore the forest which is extremely rich in herpetofauna, wildflowers and birds, and majorly snakes, frogs and geckos. The tour cost is Rs 1750 (inclusive of tea & snacks, dinner, breakfast & lunch accommodation in dormitory & Rs 2250 per person accommodation on twin sharing basis). The participants are advised to carry their rainwear worthy of trekking in the forest, pen torches, drinking water bottle and footwear for trekking in the forest.
