MAPUSADnyanprassarak Vidyalaya in association with the Mapusa Municipal Council organised a Prabhat Pheri on Tuesday to celebrate 75 years of India’s Independence. 400 students participated in the Prabhat Pheri along with the Chairman of Dnyanprassarak Mandal Shrikrishna Pokle, school headmaster Gurudas Palkar, PTA Chairman Prashant Narvekar, other PTA members and school staff. The Prabhat Pheri commenced at 6.30 am from the school. The students chanted slogans of ‘Vande Mataram’ and ‘Bharat Mata Ki Jai’ while marching through the streets of the town.
