The state government has yesterday submitted in the High Court of Bombay at Goa that it has not granted permission to hold Sunburn EDM festival. Paradoxically the CM had recently said that the organizers had finalized a private land in Dhargalim to hold the event even while the local MLA denies having any knowledge of the same. The residents of Dhargalim have petitioned the HC seeking directions to the authorities to revoke permissions granted for the EDM festival in their village, the Sunburn mystery gets murkier and murkier with each passing day. Meanwhile a leading online ticket agency is already selling tickets for the event ranging from Rs 4,000 to Rs 15,000. This is shocking.... or maybe not ; the organizers must've greased palms and are confident that permissions will ultimately come through after the initial hullabaloo dies down. Is anything related to their own land in control of niz Goenkars anymore ? Outsiders can literally get away with murder here provided they pay the correct 'fees'.
