There is nothing left to the imagination now, the ruling dispensation has made it amply clear where it intends to take the country ; bleeding it through a thousand cuts towards a mythical Ram rajya . It is not only the political class which is complicit in this sordid pursuit but the civil administration, the law enforcement machinery and I daresay the judiciary too. Everywhere the police are allowing violent Hindutva mobs brandishing swords, pistols, hockey sticks to conduct processions through Muslim dominated areas, allowed DJs to blare out music in front of mosques, looked the other way while ' karyakartas' planted saffron flags and encouraged abusive chants in a planned increase in attacks against minorities.The toxic air of rabid Hindutva has infiltrated the nostrils and lungs of a country earlier known as a paragon of interfaith harmony. This surely is not going to end well for either the country or the government, karma has a way of biting back and how. The enablers of this state of affairs should realise that if you sow the seeds of bigotry and strife, you are going to be ultimately consumed by a karmic whirlwind; what goes around comes around.
