Through your esteemed daily, I would like to bring to the notice of the railway authorities regarding awful condition of washrooms in Madgaon Railway station. Last week, I was a traveller to Hosapete from Madgaon by Vasco Da Gama-Shalimar Amaravati Express (Train no:18048) and I happened to use the washroom at the Madgaon Railway Station. Given that Madgaon is the central station in Goa and is frequented by a large number of tourists both domestic and international, I expected better amenities there. But I was appalled to find that the washroom was stinking badly. As a traveller, it was the worst nightmarish experience for me. Considering the gravity of the matter, I request the authorities concerned to promptly take remedial measures in making sure that the the amenities at the station are improved.
