Looks like as taken out of the BJP “marketing/oropaganda toolkit”, the current Goa government is busy spending crores of taxpayers money in trying to show Goa how good its governance is. Billboards across the state, news print, social media and what not. Then, I look at the actual reality on the ground via my personal observation or say media (print and social media) I see high unemployment, sewage/garbage in many places, destruction of land for massive real estate projects (many times illegally including hill cutting, cutting trees, filling fields/water bodies) poor maintenance of basic infrastructure like bus stations, filthy beaches/creeks, huge rise in road accidents/fatalities, high level of corruption at various levels of the government starting from the ministers, coal pollution on the rise, failure to meet deadlines on forest/environment/coast conservation, so much wasteful expenditures and so on. Makes me wonder on which planet is this Goa government on ? Could they not use this marketing money on actual proper services for the already over burdened tax payer ?
