Values must be incorporated during training for MLAs

This is with reference to the story, "2-day training for new MLAs... - The Goan Everyday, March 16, 2023." Training for new MLAs, now that sounds interesting. This is absolutely necessary, in fact, it should be mandatory for all new legislators to undergo an induction training just as we have in the corporate sector. They are entitled to various perks, special privileges & facilities, high emoluments, huge increments and so, they must be in a position to perform. As regards cost of the training programme, well, they need to look into it.  Now, what about the senior legislators, should they also not have to undergo some kind of  refresher training sessions. One wonders however, the contents of this training programme. Just a thought --  a couple of values need to be incorporated, for instance, ethics, morality, sincerity, loyalty, responsibility, accountability, conscience and tolerance. These are perhaps very important values in today's political world. With such values, there would certainly be less turmoil in our country. There would be lesser defections, more stable governments. And generally, there would be peace and harmony in our country.
