In the recently held elections to Margao Municipality, the indelible ink mark was put on my middle finger. Perhaps it was accidentally done. It would be appropriate if election booth staff are instructed to apply the ink mark on the index finger as is usually done. If someone were to ask me if I voted and I showed them my middle finger it could be construed as an obscene act.
I am not sure if I should say this, but the monsoons have already arrived in Goa. Summertime has passed away quickly and with it the annual spring-cleaning. Health and hygiene are very important in tackling the Coronavirus. Someone may be sleeping and snoring with his mouth open. A cockroach may creep in and a new disease could be transmitted to man. The moral of the story is to brush your teeth before going to bed.
