No sooner the final list of Municipal wards and reservations were declared, disgruntled politicians approached the courts to ‘protect’ their interests!
Such alacrity was never shown by the same politicians during lockdown, tackling Covid deaths, human rights etc.
Soon they will be at our door steps asking for votes. We need to ask them point-blank when will I get vaccinated? In 2021? 2022?
Presently, the vaccine is free of cost, but by the time our turn comes the government may charge for it.
It is also very clear, that the people will finally have to shell out at least Rs 1000 to get themselves vaccinated at private hospitals.
It’s time to teach these politicians a lesson and take a cue from the Maulinguem locals when the entire village did not vote in the panchayat elections protesting the failure of their MLA to provide tarred roads.
