We are now a country where the number of billionaires is increasing, the number of luxury cars being sold is higher and unemployment is at its highest.
The richest are getting even richer and the poor and the middle class are being sold a bouquet of venomous bigotry as they slide into destitution but the real tragedy is that those being pushed into poverty are being pushed to the corner with the rise in billionaire wealth as cause for celebration of ' sabka saath, sabka vikas'.
Never in the history of India have there been such lopsided equations ; this classic funnel up economics is not equitable growth but legalised exploitation of the masses.
