I consider it a positive step that the High Court is taking action on about 179 illegal structures at Arambol via suo moto action by the judiciary.
Can I request the High Court to do the same at Colva, where, despite repeated complaints/follow-ups by NGOs/Individuals, the concerned authorities, including the GCZMA and the local panchayat, seem to encourage and turn a blind eye?
The cost of addressing these illegalities should be recovered from the violators, in addition to imposing very severe penalties. May I also request that those in authority who are allowing such illegalities should also be punished by the law.
