When she was at the Deputy Collector’s office, MLA Alina Saldanhaasked the Chief Minister to listen to her phone. She also asked him if he couldhear the deafening noises outside the Deputy Collector’s office. He certainlycould, and asked the BJP MLA what she was doing there. She replied she was at ameeting to protest the acquisition of land for the double-tracking andtransportation of coal. The Chief Minister asked her to call the Collector infifteen minutes. She did and learnt the meeting had been deferred. If the ChiefMinister was unaware and did not know about the meeting, who did? Is there aplan to unseat the BJP Chief Minister? Who is calling the shots? When theCongress was in power
there wasn’t one chief minister but ten. The BJP isdifferent, isn’t it? Does calling the shots mean one or more people are runningthe show? In which case, is it right to blame the Chief Minister for what hedoes not know or has not done? Goa Forward Supremo has invited the disgruntledpoliticians to join him. Here we have a politician who betrayed his votersimmediately after the elections and did a U-turn and pirouette every ballerinawould envy. He now hopes to return to power when what he has done is known toone and all? Is this man shame-proof? The public, and in particular BJPsupporters, want a clear picture of what is going on. Who is (or are) callingthe shots?
