The massive hill which has be cut at Reis Magos is a major catastrophe. What needs to be noted is that how discretely the Goa ministers allowed this project, and it was only much later a mega north Indian developer was found to be the real estate company behind it. With the planned luxurious villas at such a high price tag, it seems to have taken care of all "rewards" for the Goan politicians who have allowed this major project to devastate the hill. Our Goan politicians starting from Chief Minister Pramod Sawant, TCP Minister, Environment Minister, Panchayat Minister and others; all seem to have no conscience in allowing such an environment atrocity to happen in Goa and that too for no other genuine reason but to serve the rich "money bags" from outside Goa! Also, I ask why most opposition MLAs are silent on this major catastrophe? Goan masses need to wake up and put strong pressure on Goan politicians to urgently address the no. 1 menace in Goa. We should treat land and environment as sacred in Goa and rise up to save Goa from these greedy Goan politicians before it's too late.
