Several opposition leaders are seen appearing before the Panaji police these days after being summoned in connection with FIRs linked to protests against Section 39 (A) of the TCP Act. The FIRs pertain to the protest held outside the residence of TCP Minister Vishwajit Rane, where the leaders have been accused of unlawful assembly and obstruction of traffic. Well, the reason why the government is seen selectively filing FIRs, summoning opposition leaders at police stations on flimsy reasons and going on the back-foot these days then that's because it has been totally rattled after seeing the numerous state-wide people's protests that are seen erupting/ still going on in different parts of the state to protect Goa.
