The way the Goa government is vindictively handling the case of the Chandor rail protestors is not surprising and shows why Indian democratic rankings are now the worst ever globally. There were also Goan MLAs (then opposition) at the protest including those corrupt ex-Congressmen who jumped to BJP and few others who are known to be aligned with the BJP; obviously for personal benefits (mostly wealth and power!). Why are all these MLAs not charged by the Goa government prosecution ? I hope truth prevails and all these charges on these charged Chandor protestors are dropped immediately.
