Any political king, however brave and strong he may be, of the past and present times cannot be considered as God. What Father Bolmax has preached to his congregation is that quote "Shivaji Maharaj cannot be considered as God". Fr Bolmax never said anything against the Maratha ruler, neither criticized Shivaji Maharaj. If the Goa government, and specifically a minister thinks that despite tendering apology by Father Bolmax, action should taken, then it is nonsense. To go a little further, why action was not taken against Subash Velingkar for saying Saint Francis Xavier is not 'Goencho Saib'?
So we hope that no action will be taken against Father Bolmax and that the Goa government will act wisely to close the matter at the earliest.
