Divisive forces are turning our nationalism into communalism

Even after 75 years of Independence when  our country was freed from colonial rule and foreign bondage and although our heroic and unique freedom struggle was based on non-violence under the leadership of Father of the nation Mahatma Gandhi, today terrorists attacks and communal violence are increasing day by day. We want neither backward class nor privilege class but we need a classless society where all get equal opportunities. Even after 75 years we are experiencing a feeling of insecurity as religion has become our identity and ideology and divisive forces are turning our nationalism to communalism. Our Constitution has become a government tool for politicians to manipulate there seems no sign of good governance. Seventy five years of Independence has brought rampant corruption, exploitation of weaker section of the society and injustice we are still struggling to eliminate poverty, hunger, illiteracy. We as a nation must strive to promote harmony and brotherhood transcending all religions and regional diversities only than can we succeed in guaranteeing to the people a life of dignity and a just social, economic and political order to flourish effectively.
