The Goa Police force has met the high standards required to receive the prestigious President's Colour Award, which was presented by Union Home Minister Amit Shah at the Shyama Prasad Mukherjee Stadium. State leadership noted that the award reflects the overall performance of the force, including infrastructure modernization, human resources, and coastal security. The selection highlights community policing programmes, anti-narcotics and intelligence operations, and the "Pink Force" dedicated to women's safety. Once again kudos to Goa Police force and hope they garner more honours in future.
