More culprits in Porvorim shooting case?

On August 28, the director of Majestic Pride Group had a lucky escape when two persons allegedly fired multiple rounds as he was leaving the hotel. Police presume it to be a case of business rivalry connected with the casino business. In the last one-and-half month Goa police have arrested eight people, the last being from Mumbai on Sept 29 (TGE October 1). All of them were caught from other States. It is puzzling that if several actors were involved, and the police suspect that there could be more, how come the plot did not come to light? A case involving a lone wolf would have been difficult to crack and to track the culprit. But when a group is involved generally there will be leaks, someone snitching on the others or information from stool pigeons. It seems that nothing of this sort happened but the cops were successful in rounding up the culprits after the incident. Apparently, the incident does not look to be an open and shut case as there is something more than that meets the eye.
