Leader of Opposition in the Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi, Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi, Samajwadi Party (SP) chief Akhilesh Yadav and a few other opposition leaders were forcibly removed/detained by police on Tuesday for staging a dharna outside Prime Minister Modi’s residence and demanding his resignation over Monday's lathicharge against students during the Cockroach Janata Party's 'Chalo Sansad' march in Delhi. By doing so, the Modi government has scored a self-goal and has definitely given more publicity to LOP leader Rahul Gandhi and the other opposition leaders over this particular incident. It should be noted that hundreds of innocent students were mercilessly beaten up on Monday by the Central government controlled Delhi police for marching towards Parliament over the irregularities in the NEET-UG examination scam and demanding Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan's resignation, spreading the narrative of stone throwing. The worse part was that some masked goons belonging to right-wing organisations were seen in the company of Delhi police with lathis and brutally beating & even molesting some girl students. The Delhi police have no right to touch our students for protesting and demanding the resignation of Pradhan over the irregularities in the NEET-UG examination scam.
