Posters and hoardings boldly declare that Congress and BJP have cheated Goans twice. Now, with AAP and GFP forming Goa First alliance, voters are more confused than ever about whom to trust. How can voters believe candidates who switch to BJP after taking solemn vows at sacred Christian, Muslim, and Hindu places—all in the name of development and power? The irony is painful: these very MLAs shamelessly put up hoardings wishing people on Ganesh Chaturthi, while having betrayed public trust. Such politicians, who repeatedly cheat voters, must be expelled from the political arena. Blaming each other for splitting votes and giving B team tag only helps BJP, while voters suffer from dirty political games. Politicians know how to fool and trap voters, but people must awaken before their pockets warm and they are left to cry for five long years. As elections near, it’s time for Goans to choose wisely. BJP government is playing a smart game and has already tried to win the hearts of people with the gas scheme trick.
