Witnessing harsh reality of governance in India

What do our politicians truly give us after coming to power? Before elections, they shower us with promises, only to vanish once elected, turning the citizens into beggars for five long years. Shockingly, in Goa, residents often face bills running into thousands of rupees monthly. This unfair burden on common people is unacceptable. In Bihar, villagers even protested by attacking officials attempting to install smart meters, showing their refusal to be exploited. Meanwhile, several states provide free water to their citizens, yet in Goa, the government charges for every drop, draining our pockets further. We elect governments expecting development and welfare, but instead, we get policies that empty our wallets without tangible benefits. It is time our leaders remember their true duty—to serve the people sincerely and justly.
