6 injured in road mishap at Borim

Six persons were injured when a concrete-mixing truck and an interstate car collided with each other on Saturday evening. According to reports, the mishap took place as the truck was proceeding towards Margao, while the Telangana-registered car was travelling towards Ponda.

Those injured in the mishap are Raghuram (45) residing at Varca, Haima Samvita (12), Maya Deshpande (39), Sai Krishna (11), Abhima Deshpande (13) and Satvik Reddy (12), all from Margao. All six are natives of Telangana. Haima, Sai Krishna and Maya were later admitted to Goa Medical College hospital for further treatment. Ponda police is investigating the case.
